For our worship series focusing on the Creation story, I draped verses from Genesis 1 on the ceiling. I used colors for the letters inspired by Van Gogh’s Starry Night. I wanted people to feel like they were under the starry night sky.
Supplies: Cardstock Paper, Black Ribbon, Hanging Hooks, Hole Punch, Scissors
Tip: tape the letters in place so that they don’t slide along the ribbon when hanging.
For the letters in yellow, I wanted to create an amoeba-like hanging mobile. I used 6-gauge aluminum craft wire to create 3 concentric circles. I connected them together with clear monofilament (fishing line).
